Bio

I truly enjoy the challenges of education, working with parents, teachers, and students, and finding opportunities to make a difference in students' lives.  My educational decisions are based on decades of experience, ongoing reflection, self-assessment, data from multiple sources (academic, social/emotional, behavioral, etc.), and most importantly, student outcomes. Instructionally relevant assessment and student response to intervention drives my instruction and assist in identifying student needs and practices leading to growth. Whether the students' motivations are intrinsic or extrinsic, I feel it is my role to inspire them and eventually teach them to become self-motivated.    All in all, I love getting students excited about learning and watching them grow.
